Our Mission

This past week the Lord has really been speaking to me. Every Christian I talked to, every sermon I listened to, and every passage I read all had something in common… We need Jesus. I know, that may sound like a no brainer.. but lately, I have found myself being focused on me and my life, and not on others.

I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the trust and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry” -2 Timothy 4.1-5

It is crucial to know Jesus and His word enough to be able to accurately tell someone about Him. Sharing the Gospel is not something that only Pastors should be doing.God calls us to proclaim Him name.. Not to sit by while someone else does it! There are people who do not know Jesus…his should break our hearts in a way nothing else can. As a Christian our mission is to know Christ, and to make Him known…Fulfill your ministry!! Dig deep in the Word of God, and share the truth about Him with all those you come across. Christians and unbelievers, we all need the Gospel.

This Easter, think about those in your life that you could be sharing the Gospel with. Jesus came and died on the cross, and rose from the dead so that we have life! How amazing is that?! Pray that God would give you an opportunity to share His love and joy with someone this week!

I love you guys!
